What do you love about what you do?

It’s a fun, fast-paced industry that throws new challenges our way every day, and each one requires a new, creative solution. And above all, I get to work with awesome people.

What is the most challenging part of what you do?

It’s a demanding industry often characterized by deadlines, rush requests, and a myriad of marketing options, so it is important to manage stress levels and stay focused on the goals and objectives. And amongst all the craziness, it’s very important to retain a comfortable work/life balance.

Why is advertising important?

It helps define who an organization is, and what it stands for. An advertiser is in complete control of their brand message, and if they don’t manage it, the competition or the market will.

Favourite ad slogan or tagline?

I like Avis’ “We try harder” slogan. It was a clever way of leveraging their second place status to their benefit and on behalf of the customer.

Favourite tv show of all time?

Seinfeld

What are you most proud of?

The team at Bravo Tango. We built BT from scratch, and we’ve been through a lot of ups and downs together in order to get to where we are today.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Ketel One Vodka

Who do you admire?

People who act on their instinct to follow their passion and chase their dream. It takes guts, and can be a scary road – but well worth it.
