What do you love about what you do?

Honestly, meetings. I’m serious. I love being able to brainstorm and collaborate with my creative team and really get to know our clients. That part is fun for me.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?

Being a part of the creative process with all this talent. I can’t believe I’m part of it sometimes. It feels good.

Why is advertising important?

Effective communication is important in your personal life, so why not your business?  Getting the proper messaging out always reduces the need for counselling later.

Favourite ad campaign?

I’m a sucker for jingles. I sing “Gimme a Break” every time I see a Kit Kat. Oh, and I must mention The Clapper. Bad jingles can be effective too. Everyone wanted to buy grandma a Clapper after those ads aired.

Favourite ad slogan or tagline?

Hinge: The Dating App Designed to be Deleted. This is genius. Online dating really does suck, and the end goal is to get those apps off your phone as soon as possible.

Living or dead, which 1 person would you love to have drinks with and why?

Paul McCartney. Can you imagine the stories he would have about people – living and dead? The Beatles are amazing.

Favourite TV show of all time?

Golden Girls. I already have a place picked out to share with my besties when we get to that stage in our life.

What are you most proud of?

My two boys, Kiedis and Van. Crafting funny, good humans isn’t easy but I nailed it.
